There are four heroes on a train – Drake, Eva, Lolli and Ethan. They are on a journey of discovery through new worlds, ideas and experiences, teaching them about life, love, courage, belief, family, imagination and friendship. Throughout a variety of adventures the four heroes become friends and start to understand each other better; they start to recognise their strengths and even see themselves in a different light; finally understanding how all their actions have consequences.
Created by an inspired group of pre-teenagers from Sciennes Primary School, Edinburgh, ON THE LINE is a book of short stories based on fictional characters the students developed from looking at their own personality types. The characters, settings, challenges and storylines are all theirs, having been developed through workshops with a published author. This book will entertain, enlighten and inspire you. What is more, it can help you understand the dreams, thought processes, morals and ideals of the pre-teens around you.
